On November 30, 2017, the Ho Chi Minh City branch of Medcomtech Joint Stock Company held an introduction of ROTEM® delta and Vacutest Kima vacuum tubes at Tu Du Hospital.
COAGULATION DISORDERS DURING AND AFTER CHILDBIRTH: APPLICATION OF THROMBOELASTOMETRY TEST – ROTEM
On the morning of November 30, 2017, the HCM office introduced ROTEM® delta at Tu Du Hospital. Attending the seminar, from the hospital side, there was Dr. CKII. Nguyen Ba My Nhi, deputy director of the hospital, along with nearly 200 delegates from various departments at the hospital.
The presenter, Dr. Vinh Anh, discussed the application of ROTEM during and after childbirth and highlighted the advantages of Rotem in obstetrics. Various departments raised many questions about its application in internal medicine, how it works in surgery, and whether it can be applied to DIC, etc. The presenter answered these questions during the report.

On the afternoon of November 30, 2017, continuing the seminar, Medcomtech Joint Stock Company introduced the vacuum blood collection solution. The presenter, Pharmacist Doan Van Tien, discussed the use of vacuum tubes in testing, highlighting the convenience and safety in blood collection as well as providing the best results.
The application of thromboelastometry test – ROTEM® delta in coagulation disorders during and after childbirth and the vacuum blood collection solution by Medcomtech Joint Stock Company were highly appreciated and supported by the doctors at the hospital when implementing these methods in practice.
