The 9th Vietnamese-French Open Conference on Transfusion – Transplantation – Cell Therapy (VFO - TTCT 2026) took place on August 21–22, 2026, at the Royal Lotus Hotel in Da Nang. Medcomtech Joint Stock Company was honored to support the conference as a sponsor.
Advances in Transfusion, Transplantation, and Cell Therapy
Organized by the Blood Transfusion Hematology Hospital, VFO - TTCT 2026 brought together Vietnamese and international experts, physicians, and scientists to exchange knowledge and share research and clinical experience.
The scientific program focused on advances in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, cell therapy, and gene therapy; applications of stem cells derived from umbilical cord blood and placental tissue; and laboratory techniques supporting diagnosis and treatment monitoring, including minimal residual disease (MRD) assessment, HLA typing, molecular biology, and flow cytometry.
CAR-T cell therapy was among the featured topics, with perspectives spanning research and clinical practice, practical experience, on-site manufacturing models, and prospects for implementation in Vietnam.
The conference also addressed innovations in transfusion medicine and blood banking, including genotyping, transfusion support in organ transplantation, and blood component irradiation methods.
