The Spring Red Festival is a major voluntary blood donation event with profound humanitarian significance, organized annually to mobilize individuals and organizations to participate in blood donation to save lives, enhancing the spirit of mutual support among our people.
In 2018, in the Southern region, the Spring Red Festival was held on January 17, 2018, at the Binh Duong Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, co-organized by the Vietnam Red Cross Society, the Blood Transfusion Center of Cho Ray Hospital, and the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province. The festival attracted the participation of over 1,500 voluntary blood donors in the province. The result was the collection of 17,779 blood units, exceeding the assigned target, promptly serving emergency and treatment needs.
