From November 7 to 9, 2025, the dedicated medical team at Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) worked tirelessly for three consecutive days and nights to complete two consecutive rounds of organ donation and transplantation—seven complex surgeries in total, including the first lung transplant in the Southern region.
In total, 12 precious organs were donated and successfully transplanted, bringing new life and hope to patients across all three regions of Vietnam — North, Central, and South.
