On March 13, 2019, the representative office of Medcomtech Joint Stock Company was honored to organize a short session at the Anesthesiology and Resuscitation Department of Cho Ray Hospital with the participation of Dr. Pham Van Dong, Head of the Anesthesiology and Resuscitation Department, and more than 60 staff members including doctors and technicians at the hospital.
At the beginning of the seminar, Dr. Pham Van Dong presented a summary of the ROTEM machine, its indications in some typical cases such as severe bleeding, emergencies, hypercoagulability, and especially reintroduced, updated new information about Rotem and provided guidance on practical operations on the Rotem machine currently located at the Anesthesiology and Resuscitation Department for doctors and technicians.
Following that, Engineer Nguyen Thi Kim Hong, a representative of Medcomtech Company, presented a review of the practical applications of ROTEM in some clinical cases and guided the interpretation of Rotem test results.
On the same day, 13/03/2019, the representative office of Medcomtech Joint Stock Company also organized a discussion session at the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation Surgery – 115 People's Hospital with the participation of Dr. CK II Luu Kinh Khuong – Head of Department and Dr. CK II Tran Thanh Tung – Deputy Head of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation Surgery, along with many department leaders and leading doctors at the hospital. During the seminar, the doctors discussed coagulation disorders in clinical practice, and particularly the practical application of the ROTEM® Delta blood clot elasticity analyzer.
At the beginning of the seminar, Dr. CK II Luu Kinh Khuong presented a summary of the ROTEM machine, its indication orientation in some typical cases such as: severe bleeding, emergency, hypercoagulability...
Following that, Engineer Nguyen Thi Kim Hong – representative of Medcomtech Company presented the practical application of ROTEM in some clinical cases and guided the interpretation of Rotem test results.
At the end of the seminar, the doctors were enthusiastic about the new ROTEM® Delta technique and highly appreciated this new technique for its excellent professional support. The department proposed to continuously organize sessions on Rotem to gain deeper insights into Rotem testing as well as to supplement new knowledge.
